The third annual World TEAM Challenge: Valley of the Sun brought athletes, veterans, volunteers, and supporters together for an unforgettable weekend of inclusive cycling in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Hosted in partnership with the Osaic Foundation, this year’s event welcomed 50 riders, including adaptive and able-bodied athletes, who pedaled 50 miles from Osaic’s headquarters in Scottsdale through the stunning Sonoran Desert, finishing in Cave Creek. The ride once again demonstrated the power of sport to unite communities and redefine what’s possible.
The weekend began with a memorable Kickoff Reception at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, where participants gathered to celebrate the mission, connect with one another, and prepare for the journey ahead.
Now in its third year, Valley of the Sun continues to grow as a signature inclusive cycling event for World TEAM Sports. With the leadership and support of the Osaic Foundation, along with our partners McDowell Mountain Cycles and Sun Cyclery, the event embodies resilience, teamwork, and the belief that every athlete deserves the opportunity to accomplish their goals in ways never thought possible before.
