Spring FOA Training Ride Recap: Community, Miles, and a Toast to 2026

This past weekend, nearly 50 riders came together for our Spring Face of America (FOA) Training Ride—and what a weekend it was. From the first mile to the final toast, it was a reminder of exactly why we do this.

On the Road in Manassas

On Saturday, April 11, riders tackled a beautiful 30-mile loop from Manassas, VA on a gorgeous spring day, the kind of day that makes you remember why you fell in love with cycling. The route was challenging enough to feel like real preparation and scenic enough to make the effort worthwhile.

One of the most exciting parts of the day? Welcoming brand-new faces to the group. Several riders joined us for the very first time, and watching them finish out the route alongside seasoned FOA veterans made for a truly special moment.

Raising a Toast at 2 Silos Brewery

After logging those 30 miles, the group gathered at 2 Silos Brewery to refuel, recharge, and celebrate. Looking around at the riders seated together—tired legs, big smiles, and cold drinks in hand—it was hard not to feel the energy of what this community is building.

We raised a toast to Face of America 2026, and the excitement was palpable. The camaraderie, the shared mission, the stories exchanged over a well-earned drink, it’s what it’s all about.

The Power of This Community

Events like this training ride are about so much more than the miles. They’re about the people—riders who show up, put in the work, and support one another on and off the bike. The FOA community continues to grow and inspire, and weekends like this one are proof of that.

It’s hard to believe we’re nearly at the starting line for FOA 2026. The months of training, fundraising, and community-building are all leading to something truly incredible.

Don’t Wait! Register Before April 15

If you’ve been thinking about joining us for FOA 2026, now is the time to make it official. The fundraising commitment increases for the final time this Wednesday, April 15. Lock in your spot at the current level before the deadline and join this incredible community on the road to the starting line. Register here: https://wtsevent.org/faceofamerica/my-hq/register/

We’ll see you in May!
