Boston, MA–World T.E.A.M. Sports is proud to announce Leidos, an industry and technology leader serving government and commercial customers with smarter technology solutions, as the Supporting Sponsor for Face of America: Gettysburg. The inspiring event, presented by the Osaic Foundation, brings together adaptive and able-bodied athletes to ride side-by-side in support of veterans and first responders. Leidos will contribute $25,000 to support the inclusive program and will field a team of employees to ride alongside the athletes it empowers.

Leidos’ sponsorship underscores the company’s commitment to supporting the veteran and first responder community, aligning with its long-standing tradition of empowering and uplifting those who serve. Face of America is World T.E.A.M.’s flagship event, celebrating the resilience, strength, and unity of participants as they embark on the journey from Arlington, Virginia to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

“Leidos is deeply committed to supporting our communities, promoting healthier lives, and honoring our Veterans. As part of this mission, Team Leidos is thrilled to be riding its first Face of America: Gettysburg challenge in support of World TEAM’s commitment to inclusivity for all athletes in pursuit of common goals.”

Taking place May 16-18, 2025, the two-day, inclusive cycling challenge, will see participants, both adaptive and able-bodied, pedaling more than 100 miles through scenic and historic landscapes in the Mid-Atlantic region. Notable landmarks include the US Marine Corps War Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, the historic Frederick Fairgrounds, and the Gettysburg battlefields. The event emphasizes teamwork, camaraderie, and perseverance while raising awareness and funds for adaptive sports programs and honoring our nation’s veterans.

“We are excited to welcome Leidos to the team, and grateful to have their support at such a significant level from the start. Their generous sponsorship will directly support the athletes and veterans who look forward to this challenge every year and ensures we can continue to create opportunities for people of all abilities to experience the empowerment of inclusive athletics,” said Jon Brideau, President and CEO of World T.E.A.M.. “As the Supporting Sponsor for Face of America, their contribution will enable us to continue to provide the rider support experience FOA is known for, including SAG vans, ride marshals, mechanical service, and our medical team.

Face of America: Gettysburg is presented by the Osaic Foundation, a proud partner of World T.E.A.M. Sports. The foundation’s commitment to creating inclusive communities aligns with the mission of the event, ensuring that participants of all backgrounds and abilities can participate and succeed.
