Face of America Video Offers Sights and Sounds of 2013 Ride

Holbrook, New York, May 29, 2013 – A new video of the 2013 Face of America ride from World T.E.A.M. Sports offers viewers the sights and sounds of the April 26-28, 110-mile bicycle and hand cycle ride from the Pentagon to the historic battlefields of Gettysburg.

Created exclusively for World T.E.A.M. Sports by the non-profit organization’s CEO and President Paul Tyler, the 12 minute feature includes video taken during throughout the inclusive ride, along with interviews with riders and spectators. More than 100 injured veterans participated in the ride, accompanied by nearly 400 active and retired military, first responders and civilians.

The video includes musical performances by the Children’s Chorus of Maryland, who provided a concert at the ride’s annual dinner at Arlington’s DoubleTree Hotel April 26. COL Gregory Gadson of the US Army gave the evening’s keynote address.

The Face of America ride was sponsored in part through support and contributions by Capital One Bank, American Portfolios, Booz Allen Hamilton, General Electric, Penske Truck Rental, Fidelity & Guaranty Life, Subway of the Bethesda Naval Hospital, and Revolution Cycles.

Planning is underway for the 2014 Face of America ride.
