Donate Online
You can donate to World T.E.A.M. Sports through our secure online account using your credit card. If you like, your donation can be a one-time donation, or a recurring monthly, quarterly and annual gift. Donations may be unrestricted to World T.E.A.M. Sports, or designated for a particular inclusive event, such as our annual Face of America ride in Maryland. You will receive an email confirmation of your donation upon completion of the transaction. This email is also your receipt for tax purposes. If you do not receive this email confirmation, please contact us.

Donate Dormant Digital Equipment Through UpCycle4Hope
World T.E.A.M. Sports is proud to partner with UpCycle4Hope to raise funds for our athletes and events nationally. With UpCycle4Hope, a Florida non-profit organization, we are collecting dormant and unused electronic devices. Items we are collecting include cell phones (particularly smart phones), laptop computers, iPods, video games and consoles and digital cameras.
UpCycle4Hope accepts many unneeded digital devices.
This fundraising program requires no selling, nothing to buy and no upfront investment. The average US home has over $1,600 in dormant/unused electronics. These items can be donated and UpCycled (meaning they are given a second life through resale) in many cases. Donations provide needed funding to World T.E.A.M. Sports.
We will be collecting donations at various World T.E.A.M. Sports events in 2012. Participants, friends and family are encouraged to bring in their devices for donation.

Matching Gifts
Many companies offer matching gift programs that will double, even triple a donation’s value. Check with your company’s Personnel or Human Resources Department to find out if your company will match your contribution. Once you have determined that your company matches donations made to World T.E.A.M. Sports, obtain and complete the appropriate corporate form and send it with a copy of your donation or receipt to:

Securities
Donating stock, bonds, or mutual funds that have appreciated may be a way for you to support World T.E.A.M. Sports that also has a tax benefit to you. You can receive an income tax deduction for the full market value of the securities as well as avoid the capital gains taxes that you would owe if you sold these securities.
For questions regarding the tax or legal aspects of your donation, we recommend that you contact your legal or tax adviser.
Planned Giving
You may choose to support World T.E.A.M. Sports by making a provision in your estate plan. Gifts from an estate to World T.E.A.M. Sports are free of federal estate taxes. Certain types of gifts allow you to give property to World T.E.A.M. Sports without being subject to gift taxation. Other provisions include traditional bequests of property in a will or including World T.E.A.M. Sports as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
Gifts of cash, securities, personal, and real property – such as your home – are all possible under the plans described above. You may also choose to add World T.E.A.M. Sports as a current or deferred beneficiary of an IRA or 401k.
Planned gifts are a wonderful way to make a donation to World T.E.A.M. Sports but these are complex transactions with legal and tax consequences. We strongly recommend that you contact your legal or tax adviser to create such gifts.
