Chris Morris

Chris MorrisChris Morris is a personal fitness trainer international mountain guide. Chris began rock climbing at age 13 and guided wilderness adventures by the time he was 20. Having guided in many of the great mountain ranges of the world including the Himalaya, Antarctica, South America, Africa, Russia, and the mountains and backcountry of Alaska and North America, he participated in World T.E.A.M. Sports‘ 2010 Soldiers to the Summit Climb in Nepal.

A member of the National Federation of the Blind climbing team which successfully summited Mt. Everest on May 25, 2001, Chris currently lives  and works in Boulder, Colorado. Chris coaches and trains clients from ultra runners and mountaineers to weekend warriors, people who want to get to their next level. “The gratification I receive helping and watching my clients attain their goals whether it’s strength and fitness or the summit of a remote mountain is priceless.”

Prior to the Soldiers to the Summit expedition, he said, “I expect the expedition to be nothing short of  a life changing experience, not only for myself and my team mates on the climb but for the inspiration it will provide for others to do what they didn’t think possible.”
